So, what’s going to be different?

Government guidelines are changing all the time so we will edit these measures as and when things change but for now:

Booking

In order to keep within the maximum number of pitches we can make available owing to greater distancing, all bookings must be made online prior to arrival as the last thing, we want to do is turn you away! You’ll receive a booking confirmation email and just prior to arrival please check your inbox for two further emails explaining important stuff you need to know and have fresh in your mind during your stay. Expectation is everything so please take a read and make sure all those staying with you are made aware before you set off.

Check in/out

Please note our new times:

  • Own accommodation: Arrival from 2pm to 8pm. Departure by 12pm
  • Our accommodation: Arrival from 4pm to 8pm. Departure by 10am

On arrival, please park in the arrivals lane and come to Reception. Please make sure you have the name of the person who made the booking.

We’ll then guide you to your pitch based upon the information we have about your booking. Sorry, pitching will be more precise than usual, but we’ll do our best not to make it feel that way!

Toilets and showers

Our toilets are open and as well as our usual cleaning regime, a deep clean will also take place each day. To minimise disruption, we will alternate the opening of blocks.

Communal areas

Whilst reception is open for our team to operate from, we are asking you not to enter at this time. Communal freezers etc are not appropriate but we do now provide ice and chilled drinks as well as phone charging.

Group bookings

We are accepting group bookings but these are subject to the current Government restrictions in relation to group gatherings.

Behaviour Bond – adult only bookings:

  1. Gatherings of 5 to 10 adults will need to pay our Behaviour bond of £150. This is now payable only in advance, by the group organiser. We will contact you to take this payment. Please ask us to send you further information on this.

Our accommodation – Shepherd’s Huts and Bell tents

There are specific cleaning guidelines about how we clean each of our units and what you need to do to help us.

Campfires

Don’t worry, we’ll still be supplying fire-drums, logs, kindling, paper and lighters! A couple of changes though:

  • Delivery will only be between 5pm and 8pm so buy extra as we will only be coming round once
  • Payment can be made by cash or card as we arrive at your door
  • If you’re going to be out between 5 and 8 you can pay for your kits as you go out and we’ll make sure they are there upon your return.

Postponements and cancellations

Should government restrictions or Covid related health issues mean that you are unable to fulfil your booking we will either postpone your stay to any future date or refund your stay less a £10 administration charge. These terms override our standard T&C’s

Thank you in advance for working with us to achieve a safe environment for everyone. We’ll do our best to minimise the impact of these restrictions so that you can get on with having a great break.
