Before You Get Hot to Trot
Our horsebox sauna is all about switching off, warming up and enjoying 30 minutes of glorious downtime.
A few important things before you get steamy…
Your session
Your booking gives your group exclusive use of the sauna for 30 minutes.
Please arrive 5 minutes before your booked time. Sessions need to finish promptly so we have 10 minutes to prepare everything for our next guests.
Maximum 6 people.
Age
You must be 16 or over to use the sauna.
Anyone aged 16 or 17 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult aged 18 or over.
Before you go in
Bring a towel and plenty of drinking water.
Please sit on a towel while using the sauna.
Don’t use the sauna if you’re feeling unwell or are under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
If you’re pregnant, have a heart or circulatory condition, problems with blood pressure, a medical condition that may affect your response to heat, or take medication that could do so, please seek appropriate medical advice before using a sauna.
While you’re in
This is a 30-minute private session, not a challenge to remain inside for 30 minutes!
Listen to your body. You’re welcome to step outside, cool down and go back in during your session.
Keep hydrated and leave the sauna immediately if you feel dizzy, faint, nauseous, unusually short of breath or otherwise unwell.
The hot bit
The stove, flue, stones and surrounding surfaces get extremely hot.
Please don’t touch them or put towels, clothing or belongings on or near them.
Only use the firewood and fire-lighting materials we’ve provided and follow the fire-lighting instructions.
Never put anything else on or into the stove.
Please don’t interfere with the stove, flue, ventilation or safety equipment.
A few final things
No smoking or vaping inside the sauna.
Keep the doorway and access clear.
Please tell the Petruth team immediately if anything looks damaged, isn’t working properly or concerns you.
And most importantly…
Relax. Switch off. Enjoy it. That’s what you’re here for.
